U.S. says Pakistani Taliban behind bomb attempt
Attorney General Eric Holder said Islamabad was cooperating in the ongoing investigation of the May 1 incident and the Obama administration will keep the pressure on for their continued help.
"We've now developed evidence that show the Pakistani Taliban wa behind the attack," he said in an interview on ABC television's "This Week.""We know that they helped facilitate it. We know that they probably helped finance it. And that he was working at their direction," he said, referring to Faisal Shahzad, the Pakistan-born naturalized American who is now under arrest.
Shahzad, 30, was arrested last Monday, two days after authorities say he parked a crude car bomb in New York's busy Times Square. Authorities say he has been cooperating in the investigation.
"He made a -- general statement -- that he did it because his religion was under attack," New York Police Commissioner Ray Kelly told CBS's "60 Minutes" in an interview aired on Sunday.
Appearing on CNN's "State of the Union," President Barack Obama's top counterterrorism officer, John Brennan, said: "It is looking like the TTP is responsible for this attempt."
This would be the first time the group known as Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (Taliban Movement of Pakistan) would have been implicated in an attack on U.S. soil, according to U.S. intelligence officials.
The TTP was formed in South Waziristan and is the Pakistani Taliban group most influenced by al Qaeda. Its leader, Baitullah Mehsud, was killed in August 2009 by a U.S. drone strike. The TTP has pledged to carry out attacks in the United States and elsewhere.
Brennan called it a "very serious threat from a very determined enemy."

Holder said the Obama administration was satisfied for now with the level of cooperation it was getting from Pakistani authorities in the investigation of the attempted bombing. He added that there was nothing to suggest the Pakistani government was aware of the plot.
"They've been cooperative with us, and I think we have been satisfied with the work that they have done," Holder said, adding that the United States wants that to continue.
"To the extent that it does not, we will ... take the appropriate steps," he added. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton warned on Friday of "severe consequences" if a successful extremist attack was traced back to Pakistan.
Brennan added that Pakistan needs to keep pressure on militants, particularly in Waziristan and along the border with Afghanistan.
"There are a number of terrorist groups and militant organizations operating in Pakistan, and we need to make sure that there's no support being given to them by the Pakistani government."
TRIAL FOR SHAHZAD UNCERTAIN
Appearing on NBC's "Meet the Press," Holder said it was unclear whether Shahzad will be tried in a civilian court or whether a trial will be necessary, raising the possibility that Shahzad might plead guilty.
"We have developed information that I think we can use in a civilian court," Holder said. "It's not even sure at this point whether or not there even has to be a trial."
Holder said, in response to questions, that the administration will have to work with Congress to see whether modifications are needed in the protections given to suspects arrested for alleged terrorist acts.
Some lawmakers have suggested that people accused of terrorism should not have all the rights accorded to those charged with less serious crimes.
Holder said it was important the government have the flexibility it needs to counter acts of terrorism but that any changes have to meet constitutional requirements.
He added that the administration will suggest some changes to Congress that recognize the reality that terrorism is a rising risk for the United States.
"We want to work with Congress to come up with a way in which we make our public safety exception more flexible and again more consistent with the threat we face ... Meanwhile, we should be aware that contemporary culture is only part of our culture. Classical arts and literature of the past are not only what used to be popular years age but what last and survive through many generations. They are the essence of human civilization, treasures that our ancestors handed down to us. In Paris, it is believed that a well educated person should master at least one classic musical instrument such as piano or violin, to inherit the culture of the past which they are so proud of, and to understand the way that people in the past saw the world.
Arts and literatures of the past also have great influence on today’s society. As the contemporary culture is developed from culture before it, it is necessary to know the arts and literatures in the past in order to have a deeper insight into what is happening today and to foresee the coming future.

puppy love
Puppy love, romance, dream, illusion, despair, and so forth, you name it. This is a big part of the life journey, the best part of it.
Having left the campus seven years ago, I'm now taking a backward glance at my campus life, the best part of my youth. How unique and quintessential it was! How quickly, how irrecoverably, lost!
My campus life was a mixture of the zest, the generous affection, the illusions and the despair, like the ripe wine, the overflowing fountain, the heavenly palace, etc.
When you are at 18, you are chasing the movie stars, obsessing to a song and listening to it again and again up to thousand times; you are adoring him, worshiping her, envying him/her ... The older generation may say disapprovingly, "that is a typical adolescent love, not real."
What are the real things? When you are dreaming, your dream becomes reality, and you are waking up, the reality becomes your dream.
When you are at 20, you are not afraid to give yourself away, you offer warmth and vitality and sympathy without thinking. Later on, you begin to weigh what you give.
For me, that was the kind of the youthful friendship I cherish most...
"We few, we happy few, we band of brothers", We got drunk together, flying high in the sky, diving deep at the bottom of the sea, wandering freely and aimlessly on the streets.
I knew that I had many admirers when I was at a top university in China, playing football, delivering speechs, grasping my fields/subjects effortlessly ... somehow, I let those "love" opportunities slip away under my fingers, perhaps, as a guy, I cared for many other things, perhaps ... ...
Any solution? There is no solution! That is your life journey, a smooth and calm one is a dull one and the comfortable one is a tedious one. Everyone has a unique journey. Here is one of many tips

Your career goal is a long term goal. You must aim high and be grounded as well. Arming with this mindset, you might come up with a paragraph, for example, if your long term career goal is to become a senior manager or executive, you might say something as follows.

As lifetime employment is receding and disappearing, you might be pondering what loyalty means to you and your employer. I could see that you are smart enough to figure it out. Why would some people like to move on? The answers are varied from one person to other, which are beyond the scope of our discussion, and so are other issues you brought up, for the sake of keeping our focus on "the job interview skills". You said, "I was turned down so many times due to the unsuccessful interviews. The point is my answer is not they want." Have you spent enough time to go over your answers and questions again to see what you have done right and what you have gone wrong after each interview?
