Self Assessment

Over 8 years of experience in electrical and electronics development and project management which has covered the industries ofnorthface outlet LED lighting/display, system design, components,automotive and HA; and has experenced different enterprise cultures from state-owned to America and Europe. Strong skills in cross-departmental communication and management; very good presentation skills. Martin is the giant of global intellegent lighting industry and Martin (Zhuhai) is its only manufacturing base in China Mainland. The R&D department in Zhuhai was built on Feb. 2008, which was positioned as the design house for LED intellegent lighting products that can be sold the world over.
Below are my duties during the tenure:involved into the daily management of whole department and the defination of processes, including the processes between R&D and other departments, such as PE, Manufacturing, Supplier Chain; monitoring the running of projects, allocating resources, organizing communication meetings, etc to make sure that projects were running smoothly within budgets and could meet the requirement of time schedule, cost and product performance specifications; involved partially into the product design and communicated a lot with the PM in Denmark / north face outlet
USA to confirm detailes about new products; responsible to get enough resources / supports from headquater in Denmark;responsible for the general arrangement / organization between R&D and operation to enable projects run smoothly to customer delivery after development finished;collect all information from commercial PM and analyse and present to the Steering Committee meeting (consists of the top management of Martin Group: CEO, CFO, COO, etc) to get the approval for new projects; organize the monthly meeting for the management in Zhuhai to get everyone on the same page of the running projects; report to the Steering Committee meeting about the budget, unit cost, time schedule, risk status, etc so hat the top management can make the right decision when projects come to a certain phase, such as mock-up, prototype or field testing, etc; Siemens - Mattusita, which was descended from Siemens semiconductor division, is the joint venture by Siemens and Panassonic and the No.1 player worldwide in passive components field. Below were my duties during the tenure:
working in R&D of KSS devision, which was newly built in China for Greater China market and focused on the development of sensors and temperature monitoring / controlling system;be responsible for development of sensor components and temperature-related systems and technical support for Marketing/sales/customers in Greater China; main areas were Home appliance, Automotive cooling systems and industry equipments;actually took on the role of a project manager since cheap northface jackets 2005 after a one-and-a-half-month training in Germany of Project Management, mainly focused on the projects from Bosch-Siemens Home Appliance, FAW-VW, Siemens VDO and Haier;the technical areas covered material technology, reliability testings, processes and system integration
